What is the purpose of P.A.C.K.?
To promote a closer relationship between the home and school.
To encourage parent/teacher cooperation and communication in the Christ-centered education of the students of St. Luke's Lutheran School.

To ensure the welfare of the children and young adults in the church, home and community.

Who can join P.A.C.K.?
All members of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, the school faculty and the parents or guardians of enrolled pupils are considered members.
Membership dues are not required, however a free-will offering box will be passed at each meeting.

What are the responsibilities and 
        privileges of all P.A.C.K. members?
It is a responsibility of members to attend P.A.C.K. meetings (4 per year) and to take an active and positive part in the affairs of the Association.
All members have the privilege of making suggestions and voting.  The privilege of holding office will be limited to members of St. Luke's Lutheran Church.  Offices of President & Vice President are restricted to male members.

It is a responsibility of a member with issues affecting personalities or personal relationships in the church and/or school organization to speak directly to the person(s) or group(s) involved in an honest, objective and Christian manner.

Officers
Officers of the Association will be President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer.

Terms of Office
The office of the President will be taken by the Vice-President following one year as Vice-President.  A Vice-President/President-Elect will be elected each year.

The offices of Secretary and Treasurer will be for a term of two (2) years.  The election of Secretary will take place in the even numbered years.  The election of the Treasurer will take place in the odd numbered years.  No officer will succeed him/herself more than once.

The term of office for the newly elected officers will begin at the conclusion of the school year.

Duties of the P.A.C.K. Officers
The President will preside at all meetings of the Association and the Executive Board; will appoint project committees; will be a memberr ex-officio of all project committees except the nominating committee; and will perform all other duties pertaining to the office.

The Vice-President will handle all publicity of the Association; will assist the President; and will perform the duties of the President in their absence.

The Secretary will keep an accurate record of the proceedings and at meetings of the Association and Executive Board; will send out all necessary notices; keep an accurate record of members attending meetings of the Association; and will receive and answer all correspondence and will prepare minutes from previous meetings.

The Treasurer will keep an accurate record of monies, receipts and expenditures to be presented at each Association meeting, to include a full report at the August meeting.  The treasurer will be responsible for the Association checkbook.

Executive Board
The P.A.C.K. officers, pastor of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, principal of St. Luke's Lutheran School and a St. Luke's Lutheran School Committee representative will constitute the Executive Board.

The Executive Board will meet to plan and approve the following school years' programs and activities.
