The mission of St. Luke's Ev. Lutheran Church is to carry
on the ministry of the gospel for the eternal salvation of souls in
Oakfield and the world.
In order to carry out this mission, we have the following objectives:
1. Conduct regular Christian worship services in which God
speaks to us through Word and sacrament and we speak to him in prayer and
praise.
2. Operate a Lutheran school and support Winnebago Lutheran
Academy to help parents train and equip their children for a lifetime of
service to Christ by offering quality Christian education in the
elementary and secondary fields of learning.
3. Provide opportunities for Bible study in a variety of
forums for children, youth and adults to grow in the knowledge of God's
Word and further equip them in a life of service to Christ.
4. Carry on a ministry of Christian care and compassion to
hurting souls in this earthly life of sin, sorrow, and suffering and to
those in need of special services to deal with the complexities of their
lives (WLCFS and WLIM).
5. Furnish opportunities for Christian fellowship to foster
Christian friendships for mutual encouragement and counsel in this world
of sin and evil.
6. Reach out to the people of our community and the world
through a vigorous evangelism program and the worldwide ministry of the
Wisconsin Ev. Lutheran Synod.
